Appointments

calendarIn keeping with government guidelines we are working towards an appointment system that allows access to a doctor or nurse within 48 hours. In order to reduce the footfall in the Practice during the COVID 19 pandemic we are currently offering a combination of face to face appointments and telephone consultations.

Phone 0141 770 4052 to arrange an appointment.

Online Booking - not available at present

Please help the receptionists by telling them whether or not your problem is urgent. We aim to speak to all urgent patients on the same day. Routine telephone consultations are contacted as soon as close to the time given as possible. Please allow for a short delay as some consultations may run slightly longer than planned.

The surgery is open continuously from 09:00 - 18:00 we request that you telephone the surgery and do not attend in person unless requested to do so. The GPs consult between 09:00 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 17:30.

Telephone Consultations

Doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ask the receptionist for a telephone consultation appointment. Generally the Triage doctor will call back within a reasonable time however please allow for a slight delay.  It is the responsibility of the patient to remain available by telephone until the doctor has made contact.

Hospital Treatment

Should you require tests or hospital treatment then you will be informed of your available options. If you require specialist treatment then you will be referred to the appropriate hospital or clinic.

Students

Medical and nursing students attend the practice from time to time. We hope that you will co-operate with us and help the students to learn about general practice. You will be informed of their presence in advance and if you do not want them to be present at your consultation your wishes will be respected. This will not affect your treatment in any way.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
