Appointments

calendarIn keeping with government guidelines we are working towards an appointment system that allows access to a doctor or nurse within 48 hours. We offer a variety of appointment types such as same day, pre-booked, and telephone consultations.

Phone 0141 770 4052 to arrange an appointment.

Online Booking - www.patient.co.uk

Please help the receptionists by telling them whether or not your problem is urgent. We aim to see all urgent patients on the same day. These are generally seen at the end of surgeries, when the first available GP is free. Non urgent appointments are seen as soon as practicable.

The surgery is open continuously from 09:00 - 18:00 for telephone and personal callers. The GPs consult between 09:00 - 13:00 and 13:30 - 17:30. An extended hours service is offered between 17:30 - 18:35 on a Monday. These appointments must be booked in advance.

Telephone Consultations

Doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ask the receptionist for a telephone consultation appointment. Generally the Triage doctor will call back within a reasonable time.  It is the responsibility of the patient to remain available by telephone until the doctor has made contact.

Hospital Treatment

Should you require tests or hospital treatment then you will be informed of your available options. If you require specialist treatment then you will be referred to the appropriate hospital or clinic.

Students

Medical and nursing students attend the practice from time to time. We hope that you will co-operate with us and help the students to learn about general practice. You will be informed of their presence in advance and if you do not want them to be present at your consultation your wishes will be respected. This will not affect your treatment in any way.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
